Elderly Wellness Checks for Seniors in Niagara
If you live far away from your parents or an individual for whom there is concern and haven't yet had the chance to verify their safety and well-being, our nurses can ensure your loved ones are kept in top health. Our nurses can coordinate with your existing medical team and send medical information to your doctor for review.
Checking vital signs
Check Vital Signs: lung sounds, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, body temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate including blood glucose check.
Disease management
To ensure continuity of care is maintained following discharge from the hospital, our RNs/ RPNs provide you or your loved one with specific teaching and support you or your loved who are adjusting to life with a chronic condition.
Providing injections as needed
Our nurses are happy to provide injections to you or loved one as prescribed by your physician or NP. You must have a valid prescription from a Physician or Nurse Practitioner in order to receive your injection.

Staying hydrated keeps your memory sharp, increases your energy level , helps to stabilize your mood , overall keeps your body functioning at an optimal level throughout the day. Our nurses will assess and provide tips for preventing dehydration in you or your loved ones.
Medication management
Our Nurses ensure you or your loved one has all necessary medications and are/is taking them at the right doses on the schedule prescribed by the physician. Our nurses also monitor side effects of new prescribed medication and send medical information to your healthcare professionals for review if necessary.
Nutrition
Our nurses ensure you or your loved one has food and other necessities. Also, ensure/promote healthy eating habits to improve overall health.
